Mason Jar lid Organizer

The more I read about the negative health effects of plastics, the stronger my conviction is. Plastic can leak into your foods from storing in plastic bags. This especially is true when you place hot food items directly into the bag.
I think glass will become the standard to store food. Mason jars and lids are reusable, durable, and recyclable. The glass jars and the metal rings can handle high temperatures for sanitation and the list of pros for glass goes on. We still use plastic bags and plastic storage containers for our foods. We use plastic because it’s cheap and light. It’s reusable, but the life cycle of a plastic container isn’t as long and the tendency for discoloration makes them “not as pretty.”
Mason jars are a great storage solution. They work great for food storage and we are slowly moving towards using a variety of Mason Jar sizes to store our food. Mason jars look great and they can be used for drinkware and vases. The biggest downside I find is storage. While I am still working thru organizing my kitchen I have figured out a way to organize my Mason jar lids.
